    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    · Must possess an active DOD Secret Security Clearance.

    GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

    • Proficient in current SONET switches, Avaya CS2100/CS1000 VOIP/TDM swtiches, Callegra call management systems, Cisco Unified Call Manager and Unity Connection experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
    • Active Security Clearance
    • IAT-II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
    • Valid CCNA Collaboration Certification

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Indoor and outdoor work during all climates

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As the Network Engineer, you will provide support for routine and moderately complex technical activities related telephony and SONET transport services, wireless network support, network system upgrades, configuration and operational support and network problem logging and troubleshooting.

    • Install and configure networking equipment such as Fujitsu SONET switches, Avaya CS2100/CS1000 VOIP/TDM switches, Callegra call management systems, Cisco Unified Call Manager and telephone firewalls and telephone firewalls.
    • Diagnose and resolve networking problems associated with Fujitsu SONET switches, Avaya CS2100 / CS1000 VOIP / TDM switches, Callegra call management systems, Cisco Unified Call Manager and telephone firewalls and SecureLogix telephone firewalls.
    • Administer Cisco proprietary platforms (bridge, gatekeeper, MPS) to include troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
    • Administer TMS (Tandberg Management Suite)
    • Conduct routine maintenance including patching, firmware updates and software upgrades.
    • Be proficient with Tandberg VTC administration interfaces via web browser.
    • Adhere to and monitor compliance with all relevant Army/NEC VTC policies and procedures.
    • Support the administration of VTC endpoints.
    • Configure data network encryption devices such as, TACLANE 175 D model, TACLANE 175A, TACLANE 245A, and KIV 7M.
    • Develop, implement, and assess network security measures and promote IT and network security control measures, practices, and techniques.
    • Perform network security support.
    • Process all applicable service requests IAW CIO/G6 C4IM service list
