    Job Description

    A Tiempo Payroll is looking for a qualified Payroll Administrator to run the Payroll Processing service for all of our clients. You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages, making payments, develop client relationship and much more. An excellent payroll clerk has great understanding of the concept of confidentiality. You will be experienced in entering data with attention to detail and will have good math skills to make the necessary calculations. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with good communication abilities. The goal is to carry out all payroll procedures with speed and accuracy to live up to our name, On Time Payroll (A Tiempo Payroll).

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
    • Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
    • Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages 
    • Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including federal and state income and social security tax, and calculating employer’s payments for social security, unemployment and worker’s compensation
    • Processing and issuing Paycheck Stubs, Quarterly Reports, 1099’s, W-2 forms to employees.
    • Distribute employee paychecks on a timely and accurate manner

    ·          Process pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime provided by our clients

    ·          Process bonuses and commissions provided by our clients

    ·          Manage and calculate taxes and deductions

    • Update records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes, etc. provided by the client.
    • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Requirements

    ·         Bilingual in Spanish & English

    ·         Proven experience as payroll clerk or payroll manager (preferred, but not required)

    ·         Familiarity with general accounting principles, math & numerical skills

    ·         Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality

    ·         Research and be up to date with relevant legislation, policies and regulation changes in Tax & Wage Laws.

    ·         Highly Proficient in computer skills and technology, with strong literacy including in Microsoft Office applications, Dropbox, Googledrive etc

    ·         Strong clerical, administrative and general office skills

    ·         Data Entry Skills

    ·         Outstanding organizational and time management skills

    ·         Excellent Communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
