THIS POSITION BEGINS 05/2022 AND ENDS 08/2022.
SUMMARY: Come be a part of Silver Dollar City’s Entertainment Technician Team. We are looking for candidates who have live theater experience in lighting, sound, and special effects. You will be working with World Renown Entertainment at One of America’s Top 10 Parks. Festivals and shows will change throughout our season, giving you different experiences for every festival.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Setting up acts on stage
- Changing over from one act to another in a fast-paced environment
- Setting lights, mixing sound, and setting up sound systems
- Performing routine maintenance on both lighting and sound systems
- Demonstrating attention to detail in equipment set-up and operation
- Interacting with fellow employees without distracting them while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Solving problems with minimal supervision; must be self-motivated and self-directed
- Keeping work area clean and maintaining organization
- Ensuring compliance with all authorized operator requirements and safety procedures specific to the job location
- Remaining alert and attentive during each performance to ensure a flawless production or being able to promptly respond to any issues which may arise

Required Skills

Required Experience
- Previous experience with different types of equipment and methods of live lighting or sound reinforcement is required.
- Relevant experience may include theme park, theatre, and amateur productions.
- Experience should include live lighting and or sound or band situations.
