     Willing to train.  We are looking for and Willing to train  a Front Counter Office associate / Inside Sales Representative to take care of the Customers and Contractors.  We are a Lumber Yard/Millwork facility with great people and a great culture.   For the most part we work Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm.     At BMC, we value the Receptionist as our customers' first impression, first resource, and first welcome to our company. They receive and direct incoming calls in a helpful and effective way by operating a multiple line switchboard. They also provide information to incoming customers and perform a variety of clerical support duties.

     

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Receives and directs incoming calls; serves as location receptionist.
    2. Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
    3. Takes and relays messages.
    4. Provides information to customers as required.
    5. Performs other related duties as necessary.
    6. Sends outgoing and receives incoming faxes to be disbursed.
    7. Shipping outgoing packages.
    8. Take orders for merchandise or materials and send them to the proper departments to be filled.
    9. Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
    10. Data input or word processing as needed.

    Required Skills

    1. Minimum Education: High School Degree or GED.
    2. Ability to operate multiple line switchboard. 
    3. Should possess positive interpersonal skills and energetic customer relations skills.
    4. Confidentiality requirement--minimal.

     

    Required Experience

    1. Minimum Experience: Some exposure to business environment helpful, but not required.
