    CUTTING HELPER JOB SUMMARY: Prepare paperboard for cutter as needed, assist pressman on cutter as needed.  They understand and align business operations and the Department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Wind paper for cutting presses
    • Do quick-change on cutters
    • Assist pressman on make-ready
    • Run press for short periods of time (breaks)
    • Operate aerator
    • Pull loads off cutters with hand truck
    • Drive a fork truck or operate handjack
    • Follow work order

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    Manufacturing experience a plus

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Company issued Fork Truck Operator’s license.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    WORK SCHEDULE:

    Employees are required to work 8-hour (M-F) schedule including weekends.

    Occasional overtime is required.

    Personal Protective Equipment (hearing protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes) is required.  Other PPE may be required for specific tasks.

  • Qualifications
    • The VP Development will possess a Bachelor’s and an MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
    • The successful candidate will have been recognized for excellence in executing his/her national business development responsibilities and corporate management duties in a comparably large and complex organization.
    • This individual must exhibit and cultivate an uncompromising customer service orientation that recognizes excellent time management capability, versatile oral and written communication skills and be comfortable working with and managing physician expectations.
    • Experience working with non-profit health systems whose recognition and reputation for excellence and quality place them at or near the top of the healthcare delivery system world. In addition, experience in a high-growth, for-profit company is also an advantage, as is direct experience with companies providing ambulatory surgical services or hospital services.
