Follows up with all | | specific record keeping requirements. | | - Estimates date of delivery based on knowledge of company | | delivery schedule. | | - Pulls and loads customer materials as necessary. | | - Handles difficulties with customers and coworkers with diplomacy and | | seeks assistance from management when needed. | | - Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly. | | - Describes/demonstrates products using samples or catalogs showing | | features and benefits. | | - Receive, verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, | | boxing, labeling). | | - Stage product for loading | | - Load product onto truck | | - Unload materials from truck | | - Move materials to warehouse for storage | | - Move waste to dumpsters | | - Responsible for quality control.  No damaged product is sent out.  | | No damaged material is accepted in | | - Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety | | standards | | - Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).  Stand up, reach truck, | | order picker and sit-down propane fork lift | | - Complete daily logs for PIT | | - Adhere to all processes | | - Clean and maintain work areas | | - Other duties as assigned | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+

     

    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | QUALIFICATIONS | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ |   | | | | - Six months or more of related experience. | | - Effective interpersonal communication skills. | | - Ability to perform math functions associated with the job such as | | addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of | | measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and metric scales. | | - Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest | | and commissions. | | - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, | | technical or general business publications. | | - Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products | | - Basic electrical product knowledge. | | - High school diploma or equivalent. | | - Punctual and excellent attendance | | - High school diploma or equivalent | | - PIT proficiency: reach truck, order picker, “sit down” propane.  | | Current certification a plus | | - Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small | | parts | | - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and walk, stand for long periods of | | time | | | |   | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
