Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced kitchen, bath, and closet sales person to work in our retail showroom. The individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, designing kitchen, bath, and closet spaces, quoting projects, selling products, and managing projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while in the showroom.
Sell kitchen and bath products, including cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and accessorie, to customers.
Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
Work at a physical location Monday-Friday.
Collect payments by cash, credit cards, and checks.
Collaborate with management and other internal personnel to provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability to clients.
Take added responsibility for special projects including but not limited to, onsite job visits, traveling to other locations, and Maintaining showroom cleanliness
Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, builders, and developers to drive sales growth..
Provide exceptional customer service by listening to clients' needs, offering design solutions, and providing product recommendations.
Create detailed design plans and 3D renderings using design software.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to offer the latest design options and solutions.
Attend trade shows and events to expand knowledge and stay informed about new product releases and design trends.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial design concept to installation.
Provide regular reports to management on project status, sales performance, and customer feedback.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security, as well as brand guidelines.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent but bachelor's degree is preferred
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a retail showroom setting.
Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
Willingness to work well in a team environment
Ability to quickly and accurately work on computer programs
Ability to understand customers needs
Ability to communicate with builders, contractors, and suppliers
