This job is for an Intern interested in learning about IT Project Management by working on the job. The intern will be working directly with a PMP certified Senior Program manager with over 15 years of experience on IT Projects. This position will start out as part time however it has a potential of turning into a full-time opportunity once the intern demonstrates the required skills and meets or exceeds the on-job expectations. Key responsibilities as part of this job: - Organize and maintain client schedule. - Document and track progress of all project milestones associated with the different clients. - Complete required time sensitive tasks as per the clients' requirements. - Open to additional training on project management basics. - Follow up on deliverables from project team members. - Intern may need to work overtime and or over weekends if required. Skills and Qualifications Needed - Excellent organization and task tracking skills - Diligent follow ups with minimal reminders. - Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. - Proficient in using all MS office applications such as word, excel, presentation and Outlook - Attention to detail and good observation skills - Open to learning new technologies and training. - Experience with MS Project and/or Smartsheet's will be an advantage. - Basic understanding of Project Coordination. - Must have a can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile for completing all tasks and assignments. Compensation will be provided as per the intern's level of experience, skills and willingness to learn. The compensation will commence after the successful completion of a probation period.
