Job Description

Job Summary: The Dye Sublimation Print Room Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining dye sublimation printers and related equipment to produce high-quality prints for various products. The successful candidate will have experience with printing equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: * Operate dye sublimation printers and related equipment to produce high-quality prints for various products. * Inspect and adjust printer settings, ink levels, and other variables to ensure print quality and consistency. * Load and unload product materials, such as paper, fabric, or metal, onto the printer and transfer presses. * Follow production schedules and manage print queues to meet production targets. * Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the printing process or equipment, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed. * Manage inventory of printing supplies, such as ink, transfer paper, and substrates, and reorder as needed. * Maintain accurate production records and reports, including quality control metrics and material usage. * Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * 3+ years of experience in a production or printing environment, preferably with dye sublimation printers. * Knowledge of printing equipment and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, and color management tools. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect and resolve quality issues. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities. * Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. * Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
