Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support for end-users, both remotely and on-site, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain Point of Sale (POS) systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support network infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
- Train end-users on the effective use of POS systems and other IT resources.
Qualifications:
- Education: AS degree, Bachelor's degree preferred, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT technical support and network administration. Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is helpful but not required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware components, and software applications. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting POS systems as well as MS Business Central and LS Retail is helpful.
- Network Expertise: Solid understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN configurations, and network security principles.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues with a methodical and customer-focused approach.
- Customer-Centric: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to achieve common goals.
- Certifications: Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, or related certifications are a plus.
