We are actively seeking an experienced IT Support & Network Technician who possesses hands-on experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems.     Position: IT Tech Support & Network Technician

    Location: Moonachie, NJ

    Type: Full-time

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide expert technical support for end-users, both remotely and on-site, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Manage and maintain Point of Sale (POS) systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and updates.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support network infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity.
    • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to IT systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
    • Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Train end-users on the effective use of POS systems and other IT resources.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: AS degree, Bachelor's degree preferred, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT technical support and network administration. Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is helpful but not required.
    • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware components, and software applications. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting POS systems as well as MS Business Central and LS Retail is helpful.
    • Network Expertise: Solid understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN configurations, and network security principles.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues with a methodical and customer-focused approach.
    • Customer-Centric: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to achieve common goals.
    • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, or related certifications are a plus.
