Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Repairs and lubricates machines and equipment.
Orders supplies with purchase requisition according to work orders.
Competent with machinery sequence of operation to locate problem area(s).
Competent with mechanical fitment, thread sizing and assembly.
Make repairs and modifying Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Methanol and Natural Gas systems.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture of mechanical parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used mechanical parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs and replaces defective mechanical parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Records maintenance actions performed in a computerized maintenance system.
Assist other associates as directed by the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience but are willing to train the right candidate.
