Make a Difference as a Behavior Technician (RBT/BT)
Position Summary
As a Behavior Technician at Alpha & Omega Kids, you will play a hands-on role in helping children with autism and developmental differences build new skills and thrive. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you’ll follow individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA and provide therapy in homes, schools, and community settings. You won’t be on your own, we provide comprehensive training, ongoing supervision, and mentorship so you feel confident and supported in your work.

What You Get

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old, Masters for Student Analysts
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to pass a background check
- Reliable transportation to client homes and community sites
- Ability to meet the physical needs of the role (sitting, standing, kneeling, running with children, lifting up to 30 lbs)
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Organized, adaptable, and open to feedback
- RBT certification preferred ; experience working with children strongly valued
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children in home, school, or community settings
- Implement treatment protocols and individualized programs as directed by a BCBA
- Collect and record session data, write clear session notes, and submit documentation promptly
- Partner with families to support skill-building and progress toward treatment goals
- Communicate with supervisors on case updates, scheduling changes, and client needs
- Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries at all times
- Meet training and competency requirements needed to earn or maintain RBT certification
- Use play-led learning, activities, and ABA strategies to build new skills and positive behaviors
