  • Responsibilities

    Role Summary

    Function: Provide clinical support, case management, and staff supervision under a supervising BCBA.

    Setting: Work in homes, schools, clinics, or community environments.

    Goal: Ensure high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and positive client outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Staff Supervision: Train, mentor, and oversee Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior technicians during direct sessions.

    Clinical Support: Assist BCBAs with behavioral assessments, skill acquisition plans, and updating behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

    Data Management: Review session notes, monitor data collection, and track client progress trends.

    Family Collaboration: Conduct parent consultations and train caregivers on implementing behavior change strategies.

    Direct Care: Provide hands-on behavioral services to clients when required by the treatment plan.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education: Master’s degree in a related field (psychology, education, special education, social work) or active enrollment in a graduate program with specific ABA coursework.

    Experience: Typically 1+ years of experience providing ABA or behavioral services to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.

    Certification: Often pursuing or preparing for BCBA/BCaBA certification, with accrued supervised hours. [1]

    Skills: Strong communication, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain active physical postures.

    Clearances: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, negative TB test, and background/fingerprint checks.
