POSITION OVERVIEW:   We are seeking a Computer Operator to join our team with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) located in Ft. Belvoir, VA  In this position you’ll be providing Desktop Support Services to personnel responsible for the worldwide logistics for the US Military.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Perform Tier 1 and some Tier II desktop and deskside support services.
• Evaluate state-of-the-art computer hardware and software and its application to support specific requirements and to interface with other equipment and systems. 
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose recommendations for their elimination and make recommendations for system improvements that will result in optimization of development and/or maintenance efforts. 
• As required travel onsite using personal vehicle, company van, company golf cart or another motorized vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:   

• Two years of relevant professional experience
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance

DOD REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance

EDUCATION:

• Associates’ Degree in Computer Science or related field of; Experience may be used to substitute for degree
• Must have DoD IAT Level II or III certification such as CompTia Security Plus CE
• Must have a professional Microsoft Certification such as the MTA or MCSA
