We are partnering exclusively with a globally recognized leader in book publishing to identify a seasoned SAP ABAP Software Engineer. This is a newly created role within a stable, high-tenure team — an opportunity to do meaningful technical work in a creative, mission-driven organization that is actively investing in its SAP landscape.

About the role

• SAP ECC 6.0 (EHP7) development within a complex, highly customized environment
• Support core business processes including OTC, P2P, Payables, and MM/PP
• Contribute to active SAP BTP development initiatives (in use 4–5 years)
• Play a key role in preparing the organization for its S/4HANA transition
• Bridge functional knowledge with hands-on technical execution

What you bring

• 10–15 years of SAP experience (15 years is the firm ceiling)
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ECC 6.0 development experience
• Functional understanding across OTC, P2P, Payables, and/or MM/PP
• Ability to navigate SAP tables and technical components with confidence
• Experience working in both functional and technical capacities — strongly preferred
• MM/PP module knowledge is a meaningful plus
