​​​​​​​POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Helpdesk Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting and supporting client and remote sites with all Helpdesk functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers and logs all incoming calls/tickets to the Help Desk and responds within an hour of opening the ticket
• Assists customers and remote employees resolve network and printing issues and resets associated passwords
• Keeps customers informed of problems resolution timeline and action plans
• Resolves customer issues in a timely and professional manner
• Solves problems when there are no available precedents, guidelines, policies by drawing upon experience, research, input from peers and other problem-solving alternatives
• Builds partnerships with customers by regularly demonstrating a high level of expertise and professionalism
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School diploma, Bachelor's degreed preferred.
• At least 1-3 relevant years' experience 
• Superior customer service ability and experience working with customers both over the phone and in-person
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus
• Stellar communication skills both verbally and in writing
