    JOB SUMMARY

    ABCO Medical Supply is hiring an Area Sales Executive for the Lexington, KY Market. ABCO Medical Supply is a Durable Medical Equipment Company that supplies products directly to patients in need. We are expanding and looking for a talented individual that wants to join our team.

    The Area Sales Executive will be a self-motivated sales professional with a drive to excel. The Areas Sales Executive will be responsible for developing relationships and growing the ABCO Medical Supply brand and sales within their designated market.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Market to referral sources that are targeted areas for ABCO Medical’s product lines; communication with referral sources is paramount and required for success.

    Work with management in developing sales and marketing strategies to ensure maximum profitability. Engage in creative ways to identify new customers. Engage and build successful relationships with existing customers.

    Research and cultivate an accurate perception of the organization’s mission and goals.

    Forecast sales objectives and ensure they are achieved.

    Attend industry functions, including conferences and association events, and contribute information and feedback on upcoming market trends.

    Keep accurate logs of activity with referral sources on ABCO Medical’s CRM.

    Record and review incoming orders and ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted from the referral source.

    Communicate with office staff to get updates when necessary for tracking the processing and delivery of orders. Occasional deliveries may be required.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Must have highly developed communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    Must have demonstrated/verifiable customer relations skills—the proven ability to recognize internal and external customers and to exceed their expectations consistently.

    Strong computer skills required. Working experience with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to learn newly implemented computer systems/programs.
