About the Role:

Positive Outlooks LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated ABI Recovery Support Staff member to join their team in New Britain, CT. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals recovering from Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) by providing hands-on support and encouragement every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI)

Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks

Implement individualized recovery and rehabilitation plans under clinical guidance

Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition

Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and programs

Foster a safe, supportive, and empowering environment that promotes independence

Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and family members as part of a care team

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred

Prior experience working with individuals with ABI, TBI, or other cognitive/physical disabilities preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor

Ability to pass a background check and meet state regulatory requirements

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed
