    ABL Health Care and Hospice is a leading provider of Home Healthcare and Hospice services in San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for a great candidate to join our Burlingame, CA office to help us grow our Health Plans and Health Insurances footprint. The results of multiple deliverables from this role will further unlock multiple growth opportunities in our industry.

    The Contract Negotiator Liaison plays a crucial role in ABL's commercial contracting operations. Acting as the central point of communication throughout the contract lifecycle, they collaborate with various stakeholders including the salesforce, leadership, internal departments, and end customers to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards while minimizing risks. Working within a demanding environment and tight timelines, the Contract Negotiator Liaison undertakes a wide array of tasks such as legal drafting, negotiation, and finalizing commercial contracts at a professional level.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Prepare, assess, and negotiate a diverse range of intricate contracts with Health Insurance companies for ABL Home Health and Hospice services. Additionally, oversee digital, data, and privacy agreements, including Business Associate Agreements mandated by HIPAA.

    2. Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments within the medical home health and hospice industry, offering recommendations and guidance based on industry standards (including HIPAA) and emerging trends.

    3. Maintain and uphold ethical standards, ensuring adherence to all pertinent laws, regulations, and company policies during contract negotiations and everyday operations.

    4. Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, encompassing drafting, execution, and termination stages, while ensuring prompt renewal, modifications, and adherence to regulations. Collaborate closely with Coordinate with Marketing, Clinical, and Community Liaison teams for additional contractual endeavors.

    5. Negotiate contracts with Health Plans and Insurance Plans and oversee the implementation and maintenance of these relationships

    6. Conduct market research and analysis as instructed

    7. Develop and implement corrective action plans or modifications to agreements as necessary, coordinating with health plans, health insurance companies and other relevant internal teams.

    Education/Experience:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
    • Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in negotiating vendor and/or provider contracts, analyzing contracts in the healthcare industry.
    • Successful candidates will have a track record of negotiating contracts with favorable outcomes and quantifiable financial benefits.
    • They should also have experience presenting and communicating negotiation strategies and results at senior levels.
    • Previous experience in negotiating contracts with healthcare providers for Government programs is a must.

    California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $25 to $30 per hour
