Responsibilities

• Provide skilled professional nursing care and support to Hospice patient/family/caregivers
• To make night home visits to provide emotional support, symptom management, and pronounce death as needed
• Hours of work are 6:30 pm to 8:30 am
• Home Visits will require 1-2 hours with family
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Provide health care instructions to the patient as appropriate
• Record symptom management changes and outcomes
• Complete, maintain, and submit accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient's condition and care given
• Record important health information including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Flexible work day

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 1 year' Professional nursing experience
• Preferred qualifications:
• 1year' Hospice Registered Nurse experience
