TITLE: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

SUMMARY:
The Systems Administrator role is responsible for provisioning, installation/configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of server, desktop and mobile systems hardware and software. The role also provides technical assistance and support relating to computer peripherals, hardware, software, and networking. The right candidate will be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and report progress on a weekly basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure patching and updates across Enterprise server, desktop, mobile systems and operating systems and software are kept current.
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Administer servers, desktops, mobile devices, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment.
- Ensure backups are functioning properly and test their data integrity.
- Tier 2+ support requests providing over-the phone and on-site support as needed.
- Installing and maintaining all physical servers as well as virtual servers.
- Deploy and administer endpoint security including EDR, AV and Firewall for clients and servers.
- Microsoft365 administration (Exchange, Security/ATP, Compliance, Endpoint Manager, Teams, In-Tune, One Drive, etc.).
- User administration across Cloud, local and ERP systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, WSUS.
- Microsoft hybrid environment administration.
- Azure and Azure Active Directory.
- Microsoft365 administration.
- Hyper-V hypervisor.
- SAN/NAS technologies – Nimble SAN preferred.
- Cloud backup technologies.
- Help Desk Ticketing systems including Change Management.
- Network monitoring, alerting, and reporting administration.
- At least 6 years system administration experience preferred.
- Systems Administration/System Engineer certifications.
- Microsoft, Cisco and Cybersecurity certifications not required, but preferred.
- Completed technical school or training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires working with and operating computer equipment.
- Assist with setting up equipment that may require you to push, pull, reach, lift, squat, kneel or bend.
- Handle computer-based hardware such as printers, desktops, scanners, etc.
- Requirement to neatly work with networking-based cabling and other related equipment.
- Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances.
- Hours may vary depending on company needs.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Schedule: Morning shift 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate: Depends on experience
