JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for tracking, coding, keying, and paying all invoices in a timely manner. In addition, they are responsible for researching invoices with vendors and production team.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
- Coding and keying invoices including employee expenses
- Processing payment requests and check runs
- Reviewing invoices against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure they match, researching and correcting discrepancies with vendors and production (3-way matching)
- Reconcile vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies
- Reconcile goods received not invoiced by vendor, researching and correcting discrepancies
- Respond to vendor and production inquiries
- Assist in month end closing to ensure company’s deadlines are met
- Review W9’s for accuracy
- Yearly processing of 1099s
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- H.S. Diploma/ GED
- 5 years of accounts payable experience preferably handling high volume production invoicing and processing 1099s
- Proficient in excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day.
- Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
