JOB DESCRIPTION
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining systems, programming and operations documentation, procedures, and methods, including user manuals, reference manuals, etc.
As a Technical Writer/Editor you will maintain a current internal documentation library in addition to providing or coordinating special documentation services as required. This individual will also act as project leader for large jobs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor Degree
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, including the use, creation, and modification of built-in or user-created styles and templates
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Power Point and Viso.
- Work independently with little detailed supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possesses strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing or related field and experience to include: writing technical documentation, procedures and guidelines
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
