  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a skilled Budget Analyst who will perform budget planning, organize our finances and ensure company's profitability and growth. You will also review budget proposals and analyze financial data to optimize funding procedures.

    A successful candidate should possess strong mathematical skills together with critical thinking. We expect you to have a keen attention to detail, good writing skills, and excellent communication abilities. Besides, you should maintain relevant knowledge about all legal regulations related to budgeting.

    EDUCATION

    BA/BS in Business Management or equivalent

    ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

    Candidate will support the collection, development, review, approval, and management of funding requirement associated with the Decennial Census Information Technology Program. This will include developing and distributing guidance on periodic funding requests; collecting funding requests; reviewing funding requests for reasonableness; accuracy and completeness; presenting funding requests to senior leaders; preparing presentations for senior leaders; monitoring the expenditure of funding. Supporting the completion of A-11/Capital Planning and Investment Control and Internal Use Software deliverables and tasks will also be involved.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Minimum years of experience - 4. Budget management; Budgeting; Office Mgmt & Budget (OMB Circular A-11); Budgeting Redesign; Project Financials & Budget; IT Budgeting and Planning; Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); Capital Planning and Investment Control

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    Knowledge of COGNOS, knowledge of federal acquisition, CPIC, Internal Use Software
