**ON SITE 3-5DAYS A WEEK FREDERICK, MD **

We are seeking a motivated, ambitious, hardworking, and resourceful SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME). The successful candidate will bring demonstrative experience in leading operations within Supply Chain to include inventory, receiving, storage, POS, operations, material management, and vendor and procurement management. 

DOD PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE REQUIRED

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researching cause of issues, and possible solutions to a wide variety of medical logistics related operations; this research will include day to day interaction with key leaders and stakeholders, as well as research into strategic publications and reports.

• Developing courses of action for adjudication by senior leaders

• Researching/recommending courses of action based on weighting criteria

• Making the complicated simple; incumbent should be able to work with client staff to thoroughly investigate issues and topics, and provide concise, direct summaries of work accomplished for future use.

• Keeping written records of all decisions made, and general note taking

When requested, provide subject matter expertise to client representatives for their review and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MS-Office Suite Experience (PPT, Excel, Word)

Must be able to work on client site in Frederick, MD 5 days/week if needed

Familiar with Army logistics regulations, techniques, tactics and procedures

Familiar with Army medical logistics operations

Experience at a Division or higher level as a MEDLOG Officer or Support Operations Officer (SPO) preferred

Provides project management support (working group facilitation, project schedules, risk/issue/task tracking, KPI creation and tracking, etc.) for a military supply chain transformation project.

Interact with O5-O8 stakeholders from multiple Army stakeholder organizations

Individual will be responsible for assisting key leaders in a growing life cycle sustainment command with the military decision making process on a number of strategic initiatives.
