ACI Federal™ is seeking TRAVEL PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIANS at a psychiatric hospital in STAUNTON, VA. This hospital will be focusing on forensic adult patients with psychiatric impairments. The projected duration of this assignment will be 13-weeks with the possibility of an extension. We will provide you with hotel accommodations, meal stipend and mileage reimbursement for the first and last day of travel to and from the hotel. You will also be provided on-site training for the first three weeks. During this time it is important that you are in attendance, if you have any time off in the coming month or so please disclose this during the interview. TOTAL COMPENSATION: $18/HR. & $55/DAY MEAL STIPEND AND MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE FIRST AND LAST DAY OF TRAVEL! ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION: Meal Stipend, Hotel Accommodations and Mileage Reimbursement SHIFT OPTIONS: 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) or 3rd Shift (11:00pm - 7:00am)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct or assist in treatment and rehabilitation of patients.
• The ability to manage and sustain a focus on the tasks and directives provided to properly assist staff and patients.
• Comfortable deescalating patients experiencing a mental health crisis with the techniques provided during training. 
• Skilled at processing, collecting and updating patient data. 
• Willing to provide feedback necessary to the improvement of patient processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• MUST LIVE 50 PLUS MILES OUTSIDE OF STAUNTON, VA 
• Experience with Adult Direct Care 
• Prior experience in the Mental Health Field is a plus!
• Valid Driver's ID or License, SS card and Resume
• Comfortable completing on-site training to best assist the needs of the site.
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination status form and proof of vaccines, if vaccinated (ex: photo of vaccine card)
