    ACI Federal is seeking a CT & Radiology Technologist to join our growing team. This employee operates the different machines in the Radiology Department to accurately image various parts of the human body. This is done as accurately as possible in order to assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. Directly responsible to the Radiologist, and department director. Daily interaction with department personnel; physicians, hospital personnel, patients, visitors, and families. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Care and safety of patients undergoing exams. Safe and secure handling of patient records. Proper use, care, operation and safe handling of equipment to minimize hazards (electrical, fire, excessive radiation, etc.). Educates patients for exams and properly explains patient preparation. Performs all types of radiographic, mammographic and CT procedures. Transports patients to and from their rooms, ER, or admitting for exams. Assist Radiologist during various procedures. Clean radiology and related equipment and surroundings. Perform Q.C. tasks as directed by the Radiology Manager. Perform other related tasks as directed by the Radiology Manager. Assists with office procedures, including filing, as needed. Takes designated share of emergency call. Acquires necessary continuing education. Other duties as assigned GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for acting in conformance with all Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Service Excellence, Code of Conduct, Ethics, Health and Safety, Corporate Compliance, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with Joint Commission Standards. Attends department and Hospital meetings. Participates in department and Hospital activities and in-services. Participates in Quality Improvement activities. Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and required certification/licenses. EDUCATION High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited school of radiology LICENSE / CERTIFICATION Maintain CPR. Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.

    TRAINING / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS Three years of experience preferred. Able to perform required exams with accuracy. Excellent interpersonal, communication, conceptual and organizational skills. Ability to handle stressful situations and confidential information. Self-motivated with initiative and ability to identify opportunities and problems and take action. Knowledgeable in all Radiology equipment and able to perform all types of radiographic, mammographic and CT procedures. Conscientious and well organized. Ability to operate computer and various office equipment. Ability to solve problems in a efficient and timely manner.
