Job Description

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join client's team. This position would handle Month End GL Journal Entries, inter/intra-company reconciliations and bank reconciliations, all toward accurate monthly financial reporting. This would include SAGE module month end closes for AR, AP, INV & GL. The position reports to the Controller and will help implement internal controls and accounting procedures for Inventory, HR-Payroll, Sales Order and Purchase Order processing across all locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Standard and Recurring Journal Entries
• Bank Reconciliations
• Various GL reconciliations
• Sales Tax Reporting
• Month End SAGE Module Closings
• Assist with computer/software set-up and support

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Education – BS in Accounting
• 2+ years working experience with SAGE 100 (Advanced ERP) - GL and Bank Reconciliation Modules.
• 5+ years prior accounting experience, manufacturing environment preferred
• Supervisor Experience a plus
• CPA a plus
• Detail and deadline oriented
