Job Description
The American Civil Liberties Union of the District of Columbia (ACLU-DC) seeks a Digital Communications Strategist to conceptualize, plan, and execute high-impact digital communications products to increase the visibility of our programmatic work. The Digital Communications Strategist will work under the supervision of the Strategic Communications Director and in close collaboration with the Policy, Legal, and Development departments, as well as with the ACLU national office and local coalition partners.
With more than 14,000 members, the ACLU-DC is a non-partisan, non-profit public interest organization devoted to protecting the civil rights and civil liberties of those who live in and work in the District. Our 13 staff members work daily to achieve this mission through advocacy before the D.C. Council, litigation, and public education and organizing in all eight wards of D.C. The ACLU-DC is an affiliate of the national ACLU, the leading defender of civil liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.

Additional Information
The scale for this position is $60,000-70,000 per year. Salary is commensurate with experience within the scale.
