Job Description
Position : Peer Program Specialist - Manhattan, Queens or Bronx
Reports to : Program Director
Function : Provides direct service to clients in their homes, assisting with training in skills of daily living.
Location: Manhattan, Queens, or the Bronx (*each position only works within one borough)
Tasks :
Qualifications: Lived experience receiving mental health services and a commitment to assist others in attaining recovery and wellness goals. High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Basic computer and data entry skills.
Single-Site Salary: $40,455 plus generous benefits
Scattered-Site Salary: $43,084 plus generous benefits
*Please note , there are positions available in different programs within these boroughs. Each position would perform tasks within the specific program borough, and not all three boroughs. Some positions involve traveling throughout the borough (scattered site) and some are within a single residence (single site).
