    ****OVERVIEW:

    This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support investment management as part of the Trust & Investment Services function.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assisting with the achievement of customer service goals as established in the Bank’s business objectives;
    • Reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the Bank and Trust & Investment Services function;
    • Communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records;
    • Assists with the management of Trust & Investment Services client portfolios in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies;
    • Ensures adherence to client investment policy statements, Trust & Investment Services Policy Statement, and Bank policies;
    • Conducts research and analysis of investments and strategies; contributes to the formation of investment strategies, asset allocation, and approved asset lists;
    • Maintains and updates approved asset lists and securities models;
    • Executes and documents trade orders with approved broker/dealers;
    • Participates in or conducts client meetings; works closely with Wealth Management Officer and Trust Officers/Account Officers in maintaining client relationships for assigned portfolios;
    • Assists Wealth Management Officer, Trust Investment Officer, Trust Officers/Wealth Advisors, and Wealth Advisors/Account Officer in the development of new business, including contributing to development of appropriate response materials for Request for Proposals;
    • Conducts annual regulatory reviews on assigned accounts; tracks and resolves investment exceptions in a timely fashion;
    • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.;
    • Communicates with management and staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities;
    • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required:

    • A high school diploma or GED;
    • Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills;
    • Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative and sales skills;
    • Proficient PC skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook;
    • Proficient analytical and problem solving skills;
    • Strong aptitude regarding attention to detail;
    • The ability to be adaptable;
    • Visual and auditory skills;
    • A valid driver’s license.

    Preferred:

    • A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study
    • Investment management experience or strong investment/finance background.
