E-Commerce Sales Manager

In this role, the E-Commerce Sales Manager will manage the marketing communications activities of an organization and the organization’s Amazon e-commerce business presence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities are:

• Administers the development and dissemination of information meant to drive sales of the organization's products or services.
• Works with a team of product managers and graphic/web designers that draft marketing communications, including promotional publications, presentations, advertisements, brochures, catalogs, and websites; reviews and edits messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and seek to preserve the company's image.
• Defines target audiences and tailors messages and delivery channels.
• Collects data on the performance of specific communications or campaigns and modifies strategies to improve performance.
• Oversees implementation of marketing plans and campaigns meant to promote online sales of the organization's products via Amazon.
• Researches industry and competitive trends and gathers data identifying specific new or underserved channels.
• Administers online promotions, email campaigns, or social media outreach programs.
• Collects data measuring campaign performance; modifies campaigns based on ROI analysis.
• Works with graphic design and web development consultants to ensure that e-commerce sites are accessible and easy to navigate;
• May lead and direct the work of consultants and other employees;

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or scientific discipline; or a combination of education and related experience;
• At least 6 years of experience in sales/marketing and e-commerce;
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be experienced in e-commerce platforms (preferably Amazon);
• Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles;
• In-depth knowledge of web, content and digital marketing strategies, as well as business processes;
• Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously & complete projects with tight deadlines;
• Must be a self-starter & work well independently;
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
• Excellent computer skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
