    Area Overview of Company Since 1986, ACP has manufactured high-quality products for utility, telecom, CATV, government and commercial applications. Our manufacturing capabilities include graphic design, screen printing, fabrication, welding, polyurethane doming, assembly, and we're also the exclusive manufacturer of Concrete Graphics®. In 2009 ACP acquired SA-SO, a safety and safety products company. SA-SO specializes in traffic signage and solar-powered products. Position Summary The position of Artwork/Graphic Assistant reports to the Creative Director. This position interfaces with many areas of the company with the majority of time dealing with customers and sales team members. Responsibilities Customer Support • Create Submit new proofs to customers for approval. • Make necessary changes at the customer’s request and resubmit proofs in a timely manner. Internal Support • Assist Account Managers with preflight requests and adjustments to existing artwork. • Assist the Creative Director with special projects including but not limited to: • Flyer generation, Catalog development, Archival of artwork, etc. • Create product specification sheets as requested. • Contribute to social media postings with creative design and copy. Coordination Enter customer approved artwork into the database and maintain record of approvals. Create and maintain clean and accurate proofs, sometimes from a blank slate, other times from a templated file. Team Building Since we are a small company, the Artwork/Graphics Assistant, like all of our employees, will be asked to help with other work around the company on occasion, as the need arises. The “that’s not my job” mentality has no place in our company. Effective communication with other team members throughout the company is essential. Skills & Qualifications & Experience • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and detail. Our experience has shown us that the most successful people in this job are naturally adept at details. . • Being able to manage your own time and tasks and take initiative to solve problems in a professional, timely manner. • Good Common Sense and ability to think on your feet. • Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign knowledge is a must. • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively through written and verbal correspondence. • Photography skills a huge plus.
