This is an excellent full or part-time position for students or recent graduates in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or other human services field. It is also a great full-time position for anyone interested in a career with an eclectic range of clients and services. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, willing to understand client choices and preferences, and advocate for their clients.

Our Independent Living Instructors support individuals with:

• Money management

• Medical, dental, and medication management

• Basic cooking and meal preparation

• Utilizing public transportation

• Locating affordable housing

• Obtaining and maintaining benefits such as Social Security, Medi-Cal, Medicare, etc.

• Community and Relationship Safety

• Household maintenance

Requirements for Employment:

Live Scan (criminal background check) fingerprint clearance

Valid California Driver License

Acceptable DMV record

Must have a reliable automobile, auto insurance and be willing to DRIVE OWN CAR (we reimburse for mileage)

Eligible to work in U.S.

Verifiable references

At least 21 years’ old

PAY:

$19.00/HR- $24.00/hour starting; depends on experience and education related to the field

Part-Time to Full-Time: Monday -- Friday 8:00am-8:00pm flex hours; weekend hours available
