ACZ Laboratories, Inc. (http://acz.com) is an environmental testing laboratory located in the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat Springs, CO. We are currently looking for a summer intern to join and assist our team during the busiest time in our year. ACZ provides flexible schedules once adequate training has been accomplished, and there are regular opportunities for overtime at 1.5x pay. ACZ has opportunities for housing for full time employees and those only looking to be in Steamboat for the summer.

Must be 18 years old to apply.

Expectations and Responsibilities include:

• Learn, embrace, and adhere to ACZ's mission, core values, and quality system.
• Assist lab staff as they analyze environmental samples for various constituents
• Execute EPA approved methods according to laboratory standard operating procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of laboratory activities.
• Monitor and maintain support equipment such as balances, ovens, and thermometers.
• Clean laboratory equipment and facilities.
• Perform other duties as instructed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Desire and ability to develop excellent lab technique
• General proficiency with computerized systems.
• Strong work ethic.
• Desire and ability to work in a team environment.
