OBJECTIVES The Account Manager position is responsible for managing and developing new business opportunities in the gaming laptop and its peripheral product lines across the States. The position needs to take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentation materials for creating and nurturing new business opportunities or partnerships. The position is able to identify trends and customer needs for building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets. The role develops strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration. The position also assists in the coordination and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, and delegating tasks to achieve the strategic goals. The successful Account Manager also plays a role in motivating the team, tracking performance, and reporting metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers; meet regularly to discuss strategy - Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources - Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies and lead - Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, business plan, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company - Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals - Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations - Other duties or projects may be assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in business or management - Successful track record in PC hardware B2B sales and negotiation - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills - Basic Mathematic skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide - Basic Reasoning skills to apply common sense understanding and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and Excel - 3-5 years in sales experience in selling gaming component products for XPG specialist - Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting - Proven ability to plan and manage resources
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with CRM/SAP software - Ability to deliver presentations
TRAVEL
Business travel is required as needed.
