    JOB TITLE: Sales Representative

    POSITION TYPE: Regular Full-Time

    PAY RANGE: $40,000+ Commissions

    REPORTS TO: Manager & Human Resources

    CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

    LOCATION: Chattanooga, TN

    SUMMARY

    The position is responsible for sales account management and prospecting for new clients. This person will work as part of a sales team making 80 – 100 calls a day. The Sales & Marketing Representative will be given leads in the database and expected to contact companies, build relationships, and maintain notes in the database while bringing in new revenue to the company. Occasional customer visits and presentations may be required. Great growth and earning potential!

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    · Maintain between 80-100 phone calls daily

    · Customer Service: Handle all updates or information requests by customers

    · Customer Retention: Contact existing customers regularly in order to build and maintain customer relationship

    · Negotiate / Close: Approvals of existing quotes and negotiation of final pricing

    · Record all customer contact information in the notes section of the database

    · Request/complete New Customer Set-Up Forms for first-time customers and give to the Accounting Department for setup

    · Request/complete Failure Information Forms at the point of a warranty return and submits to the Service Department

    COMPETENCIES

    · Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships

    · Sales / Prospecting / cold calling

    · Salesforce or CRM

    · Microsoft Word and Excel

    · Google Drive

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break.

    HOURLY PAY

    The Inside Sales & Marketing Representative will make $19.23 per hour / $40,000 per year. Reps are expected to work 40 hours per week.

    COMMISSION

    Beginning at their Goal Level, Sales Rep will be paid commission on their commissionable amount (Unit Price or repair less MRO Costs) on the first paycheck of the next month.

    TRAVEL

    Minimum travel. However, on-site meetings and customer pick-ups may be required at times.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    · High school diploma or equivalent

    · Minimum of three years of sales experience
