    Job Title: RPA Administrator

    Location: Richmond, VA

    Duration: 12 Months

     

    *Only local to Virginia

    *interviews will be conducted In Person.

    *candidates will telework now (after coming to office to pick up laptop). Once restrictions are lifted, candidates will be required to work onsite daily M-F 8-5pm, NO exceptions

     

     

    ·        This position is responsible for enterprise level systems administration including: maintenance, backups, patch management, support, troubleshooting, installation, and break/fix.

    ·        Areas of responsibility include DEV, QA, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production server environments. Work involves the advanced use of software and/or hardware tools to provide on-going services, maintenance, and monitoring.

    ·        Work includes optimizing systems performance, troubleshooting systems problems, and analyzing usage and systems load issues of a highly technical nature.

    ·        Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with a high technical skill level. Position requires frequent interaction with employees, customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems.

    ·        Experience working in multi-tiered server environments. Support in the areas of server and applications architecture, systems integration, and Internet/Intranet deployment for various .NET applications, as well as work in other aspects to support many other VDOT applications.

    ·        Daily tasks include technical solution delivery, application deployment, maintenance, operations and troubleshooting.

    ·        Extensive systems administration experience on the Windows Server platform, with web/app server deployments and operations including IP, HTTP, HTTPS, STP, load balancing, clustering, firewall rules, failover, monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning, etc.
