EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- Professional certification of technical skills (e.g., Salesforce certifications, Veeva certifications) helpful
DUTIES:
The Senior Manager, US Medical MSL Operations will play a critical role in the success of the client’s US business and the US Medical Affairs organization. S/he will serve as a key partner to the US Field Medical team ensuring that consistent and high-quality business operations support is provided for day to day activities and key field systems, primarily Veeva CRM. Specifically, the position will entail the following responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Veeva CRM including territory management, account alignments, survey deployment, training and quick card creation, troubleshooting, facilitating data stewardship, development of new functionality, and testing/monitoring data quality
- Participate in governance committees to ensure enhancements and new projects are prioritized appropriately and with consideration of scalability and ongoing maintenance
- Optimize existing system-related processes and design new processes to support key Medical initiatives and challenge the status quo, always designing with the end in mind
- Conduct baseline assessment of US Field Medical capabilities, processes, and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement to achieve operational excellence and gain efficiencies; work with IT support teams to solution ways to meet requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance current systems and maximize analytic capabilities; oversee the evolution and integration of US Field Medical systems with other technologies and business functions in close collaboration with US Medical IT Business Partners
- Assist in developing, prioritizing, and facilitating key US Field Medical activities and strategic initiatives in support of business objectives by providing technical and operational subject matter expertise
- Be a strategic partner to the MSL team and actively participate in their team meetings
- Play a key role in preparation of and during Business Reviews and periodic reporting
- Gain understanding of current environment and US Field Medical team approaches
- Deliver ad hoc reports in line with local specificities and needs
- Maintain approved materials for MSL use within Veeva CRM
- Maintain US Field Medical org charts, territory listings, and maps
- Provide state and federal mandated reporting of field activity in collaboration with government affairs
- Facilitate a culture of planning and project management, using consistent tools and approaches and ensure that work is tracked, prioritized, and resourced effectively
