    Job Summary and Responsibilities:

    As our Vendor Manager, you will work directly with our leadership team and you will be responsible for the leadership and development of our strategic vendor relationships. Our Vendor Manager will engage directly with suppliers and manufacturers, having day-to-day responsibility for the quality and cost-effectiveness of the vendor’s services. This position requires the utilization of a wide range of skills and the ability to work across major functional areas and multiple internal teams. This position will perform as a functional bridge between external vendors and internal stakeholders through leveraged buying power, rebate negotiation, and contract negotiation. Adept at determining vendor patterns and nurturing mutually beneficial relationships through enterprise-wide due diligence, risk assessment, and continuous vendor monitoring. Responsibilities will include negotiating national pricing and rebates on essential needs, food, equipment purchases, furnishings, marketing and advertising, POS, merchant processing, payroll processing and more. Contract management with operational and financial acumen is required to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners and lead our annual off-site national convention.

    The Vendor Manager will possess a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of Excel will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result and possesses the ability to predict future needs based on early trends.

    The person we are seeking will enjoy the fast-paced work of a dynamic organization and will have experience moving through the daily challenges that impact the overall effectiveness of our Company. We require an analytical team player with the ability to think “on their feet” and to provide support in an efficient manner to multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management. The ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization is critical. Must be able to work well in both a team setting and independently.

    Basic Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree

    2+ years of experience in vendor management, marketing, supply chain, or relevant areas

    2+ years of experience using Excel to analyze data to support decision-making

    Highly organized and detail-oriented

    Preferred Qualifications:

    GPO Experience

    Restaurant Experience

    Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results

    Strong multi-tasking ability and experience with meeting multiple deadlines

    Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with vendor and clients and well-developed customer-facing experience

    Experience in a buying, marketing, merchandising, finance or supply chain function

    Proficiency with SQL
