    Guest Relations Coordinator

    Guest Relations Coordinator is the main point of contact for guests, providing assistance, booking reservations, large parties and help throughout their dining experience. DGR is responsible for giving a warm reception to guests and making sure that their expectations have been met at our Fine Dining establishment; element: Modern Mediterranean Grill.

    Guest Relations Coordinator job description

    We are looking for an outstanding DGR who is passionate about turning moments into memories for our guests and ensuring that they have an exceptional guest experience.

    Guest Relations Coordinator duties and responsibilities

    Respond to any questions, needs and desires of guests, and follow up with guests to ensure their requests have been met to their satisfaction

    Respond to guests needs and anticipate their unstated ones

    Expect and react promptly to guests’ requirements and inquires

    Schedule reservations and work large party leads for the restaurant

    Actively listen and assist GM/AGM to resolve guests’ complaints

    Oversee and coordinate all arrivals and departures of special guests (VIPs)

    Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff

    Direct, coach and manage guest relations team to ensure all standards and operating procedures are adhered to

    Provide confirmation calls for scheduled reservation and follow up call backs to thank our guests for joining us

    Examine, review, and plot seating assignments in our Open Table Guest Reservation system

    Following training, have a passion and working knowledge of all restaurants within the company

    Guest Relations Coordinator requirements

    Proven working experience as guest relations manager

    Working experience in hospitality, previous restaurant experience helpful

    You are the face and ambassador of the restaurant; you will need to present as a true professional in every way

    Experience with needs assessment techniques, quality standards and satisfaction evaluation techniques

    Proficiency in English, multilingualism will be considered an asset

    Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills

    Ability to work flexible hours-Full time

    Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation

    BS degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field, recent grads also encouraged
