    Advanced Ceramics Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a lead role in providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, and overseeing engineering and production activities to ensure the quality of our products.     To excel in the position of Production Support Engineer, the following factors are crucial:

    1. Excellent communication, customer service, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    2. Extensive knowledge of the products being supported.
    3. Ability to compile, write, edit, and present technical documents.
    4. Computer literate, especially in CAD software (Solidworks), CAM software (Surfcam, MasterCam or CAMWorks), Excel, and Word.

    As a Production Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Supporting customers with engineering, design, and processing of washout tooling and composites in aerospace and other applications. • Developing and establishing new and modified methods, techniques, procedures, and materials to improve and exceed customer requirements. • Establishing and monitoring standardized procedures for management, production, and quality processes. • Troubleshooting various production issues. • Writing technical documents and reports detailing results and conclusions of investigations.

    Education: A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or another relevant science/technology field is desired but will consider candidates with commensurate experience.

    Experience: Customer support experience and familiarity with CAD software, CNC programming and machining software, and fabrication of tooling and composites using industrial systems and equipment is required. Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100D and washout materials is desired.

    Knowledge: A well-balanced technical background is desired, and detailed knowledge of a wide variety of processes is required for this position.

    Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to safely conduct production process experiments and operate industrial machinery/equipment. Occasional weekend work and travel may be required.

    Special Requirements: US citizenship is required.
