    Position Summary

    Advanced Nutrients is looking for a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in our Distribution and Operations it is a supply chain and logistics professional whose primary tasks includes Receiving, Inventory and Distribution of material to internal sites and to our domestic and International Customers. Their ability to operate forklifts, build, pick and load material efficiently and accordingly creates customer satisfaction that ultimately leads to higher sales for Advanced Nutrients and makes them valuable members of the team.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Use electric pallet jack / forklift to pick product quantities as requested on pick lists.

    • Orders Accuracy – ADC Guns must be used as part number and lot number must match the picking list.

    • Accurate documentation - Legibly initial and date the pick list. Document who pulled the order, who verified the order must initial and date the pick list.

    • Ensure oldest product is picked and shipped first using FIFO method (first-in-first-out).

    • Ensure all packaged product meets or exceeds our product quality criterion, reporting all stock damages to Warehouse Supervisor.

    • Place each order on a pallet for verification and to prepare for pickup and transportation.

    • Wrap pallets with plastic wrap and strap for shipping.

    • Place appropriate stickers and the address sheet on the shrink wrap.

    • Order processing required to bid the best rate possible with multiple courier and LTL companies.

    • Create and generate picklist using WMS system.

    • Maintain a clean work environment includes housekeeping responsibilities.

    • Receiving incoming product.

    • Accurately identify received product. Count and confirm received quantities and corresponding lot numbers.

    • Documentation- Sign and date all corresponding documentation.

    • Put away material using ADC gun in WNS system.

    • Inspect returns and follow RTS process.

    • Inventory Control requires to keep accurate inventory when picking.

    • Create and confirm weekly cycle counts using WMS and ADC Guns.

    • General Warehousing.

    • Perform other duties as required.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

    • Knowledge and compliance of all personal protective equipment and the use of machinery.

    • Knowledge of Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations and Dangerous Goods Regulations

    • An attention to detail so that pick lists are read/followed correctly.

    • Knowledge with Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Outlook and Power point.

    • A high school diploma and/or relevant education

    • Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.

    • Adaptive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

    • Comfortable with change & adaptation to new systems & workflow

    • Forklift certification a plus.

    • 2(+) years of warehouse experience

    • 2(+) years of forklift experience.

    ** Compensation: $18/hr**
