Duties include 2D, 3D and isometrics drawings for various | | ORDALT installations.  | | | |   | | | | POSITION DUTIES: | | | | - Either Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other | | Technical Degree with 6 years of AutoCAD experience with system | | engineering drawings Or no degree and a minimum of 12 years drafting | | and CAD experience designing, developing and updating engineering | | drawings for systems. | | - Must be able to read shipboard technical drawing and instruction, | | able to work with specifications, work statements and | | ORDALT/SHIPALT instructions. | | - Must be able to develop/update engineering drawings for Navy | | technical documentation. | | - Must be able to develop mechanical, electrical and | | interface drawings. | | - Must be able to work independently developing and designing complex | | 2D, 3D and isometric engineering drawings. | | - Must have experienced in system and sub systems drawings and able to | | design isometric drawings for modeling, fabrication | | and installation. | | - Must have experience with the design of engineering drawing piece | | parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies used for installations. | | - Must be able to take responsibility for action items assigned, | | complete the actions and provide status.  | | - Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a | | government clearance. | | - Must be able to follow company policies and procedures. | | - Must be able to present at working groups to clarify status of | | detail of drawings. | | - Must be able to write clear, detailed technical monthly reports. | | | | PREFERRED SKILLS: | | | | - SolidWorks experience. | | - Experience with Navy systems and various configurations for CGs and | | DDGs (i.e., C&D, Sonar, Spy, etc.) | | - Experience designing AEGIS ECW ORDALT engineering drawings. | | | | PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: | | | | - Must be able to lift 40 - 50 pounds. | | - Must have a valid driver’s license. | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
