    Role and Responsibilities:

    Full Time Associate Logistician position supporting the Navy Modernization Process and Availability

    Planning for Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). The position requires logistics support services including the Navy Data Environment (NDE)

    applications and supporting weekly telecons.

    Position Duties:

    • Must have an associate degree in technical or business field and demonstrated related experience OR High School diploma,

    or equivalent, with three (3) years of related experience.

    • Must be able to apply general knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures necessary to perform logistics

    functions.

    • Must be able to work independently, performing complex project tasking with some direct supervision.

    • Must be able to evaluate program documentation for logistics impacts, coordinate logistic tasks, review and track logistics

    products.

    • Must be able to participate in various working groups dedicated to development of specific logistics products.

    • Must be able to take direction, analyze operations of logistic functions and make recommendations.

    • Must be able to learn the logistics databases, tracking systems and processes.

    • Must be able to perform moderately complex tasking with minimal direct supervision.

    • Must possess advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint) to include pivot tables.

    • Mus be able to draft, edit and review Risk Assessment (RA) Naval messages for LCS Combat System elements using MS

    Word.

    • Must be able to take responsibility of messages for a particular system and report status on a weekly Alteration Readiness

    Meeting.

    • Must be able to interface in a professional manner to government customer, LCS program office staff and various

    waterfront personnel.

    • Must be willing to learn and understand the Navy Modernization Process for LCS.

    • Must be able to utilize Navy Data Environment (NDE) applications to schedule alterations, create risk forms, and track

    availabilities.

    • Must be able to satisfactorily complete background check and maintain a government security clearance.

    • Must be able to take direction and follow company policies/procedures.

    • Must be able to write, speak and develop reports and provide monthly level of effort inputs.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Familiarity with Navy logistic processes.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must have a valid driver’s license.

    • Support limited travel requirements (up to 10%)
