    AdvantEdge Technology is seeking:

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is for a Full Time RF Technician supporting the Weapons Surveillance and Testing Laboratory (WSTL). The lab provides Strategic Weapons Systems surveillance testing and evaluation of weapon system components by developing test equipment and test procedures, conducting electrical, electronic, radio frequency, mechanical, materials, chemical, destructive and non-destructive tests on components during and after environmental conditioning, analyzing test results for reliability, and publishing stockpile reliability assessment reports from system deployment through system retirement.

    POSITION DUTIES:

    • Either Associate’s degree in an electronic field or a technical field of a military technical school and a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Or no degree with a minimum of 9 years technical experience supporting RF projects.
    • Must have experience in performing engineering support services such as:
    • Experience in installation, troubleshooting, upgrading and compliance of RF systems
    • System integrations and RF testing
    • Prepares designs and specifications for various complex equipment or systems
    • Work independently to plan and accomplish complete projects
    • Serve as an RF expert in resolving design and operational problems
    • Make decisions in situations where standard engineering procedures, and techniques may not be applicable
    • Solve design problems; conceives and recommends new design techniques
    • Design and coordinate test set-ups and experiments to prove or disprove the feasibility
    • Perform complex engineering analysis tasks
    • Operate test equipment to perform installation, system setup, check-out and troubleshooting
    • May advise equipment users on redesign to solve unique operational deficiencies
    • Read and analyzed electrical schematics. 
    • Measure, record and analyze readings
    • Developed performance processes
    • Take responsibility for action items assigned, complete the actions and provide status
    • Able to satisfactorily complete background check and get a government clearance
    • Comply and follow company policies and procedures
    • Be able to write, speak and present clear, detailed technical monthly reports.
