Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern for our office in Denver, CO.

This position is expected to begin in May/June 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to

• Assisting in the development of plans, specifications, and engineering documents using a variety of Civil Engineering design software applications and MS Office applications.
• General office administration, including report reproduction, collation and deliveries.
• Enthusiastic individuals eager to face new challenges and take on personal responsibilities are best qualified to meet the demands of this work. An intern is expected to be able to apply technical training to perform basic calculations, work well in a team setting and be willing to work diligently to learn new skills.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in General Civil and/or Water or related field with the intent to continue enrollment after an internship.
• Must have completed 3 years of study in applicable program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microstation, and a variety of Civil Engineering design software applications.
