Job Description
AECOM will be hosting an invitation-only, hiring event in March 2024.
The Thursday night event is a networking mixer from 6-8 pm where candidates will hear from AECOM staff about projects, career paths, and company, and meet with other students, graduates, and AECOM professionals across all business lines. ****
On Friday, interviews will occur at our Philadelphia office.
This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for internship opportunities starting immediately and in Spring / Summer 2024.
The event and interviews will be in person in downtown Philadelphia. Many opportunities will be based within the greater Philadelphia area (to include Pittsburgh, Delaware, New Jersey, etc.). Other opportunities will be filled in locations across the Eastern seaboard.
We are seeking candidates for the following business lines with an interest and technical background in:
Transportation: Civil, Structural, Traffic or Aviation Engineering or Transporation Planning.
Environmental: Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
Buildings and Places : Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Architectural Engineering or Architecture
Project and Program Management: Construction Engineering, Management or Inspection
Water: Civil, Water Resources, Hydraulic, or Geotechnical Engineering

Qualifications
Candidates should be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in or related to one of the following degree disciplines from an ABET-accredited institution, and have completed at least 3 years of study. ****
Transportation Civil, Structural, Traffic or Aviation Engineering or Transportation Planning
Environmental Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering
Buildings and Places : Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Architectural Engineering or Architecture
Project and Program Management - Construction Engineering,Management, or Inspection
Water - Civil, Water Resources, Hydraulic, or Geotechnical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D design software.
Experience using MicroStation
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) licensure
