Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Traffic Intern to be based in Murray, Utah.

This position is expected to begin in May 2024.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded leaning experience within transportation engineering.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
• Candidates must have completed one year of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in using CAD, and MS Office.
• A plus for candidates with VISSIM, Synchro, or traffic modeling experience.

• Relocation assistance and/or per diem is not available for this position.
• Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Murray, Utah. The selected candidate must be available to work in Murray, Utah on a scheduled basis.
• Offered rate of compensation (Utah locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $16.52 - $22.71.
