Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Planning Intern to be based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This position is expected to begin in January 2023.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support senior planners and/or project managers in producing documents, reports, graphics, 3D modeling, and materials for Airport Master Plans, Airport Layout Plans, Airspace Analyses, and community outreach
• Compile data and conducts research in support of project delivery
• Preparing various planning studies, planning support, computer aided drafting (AutoCAD), GIS analyses compiling design data, developing cost estimates, and other assignments as needed to meet the needs of our clients
• Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Urban Planning, Geography, Social Science, Mathematics or related field
• Must have completed first year of qualified study
• Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required for this position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work with a diverse team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines.
• Experience using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
